Speechless

Speechless on ABC gave her, her first acting credit in a TV show. A comedy series starring Minni Driver that ran for 63 episodes spanning 3 seasons, Nikki appeared on the 12th episode of the 3rd season in 2018 in the role of Madison and it was only a guest role.

Adam Ruins Everything

She then appeared in episode 8 of season 3 of Adam Ruins Everything starring Adam Driver from College Humor. She appeared in 2019 as Brie in the episode “Adam Ruins Murder” and was a guest role. The show ran for a total of 65 episodes spanning 03 seasons total.

On My Block

On My Block was the first TV show where Nikki properly got started. She had a recurring role as Vero the girlfriend or now the ex-girlfriend of the main character of the show Cesar played by Diego Tinoco. She appeared in the fourth and final season of the series in all 10 episodes and had an iconic role.

My Life with the Walter Boys

This is the first and only TV show to date in which she has appeared as the main character. She plays the role of Jackie Howard; the protagonist of the show and the whole series revolves around her character. Starring alongside her are Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry, and Corey Fogelmanis to name a few and the show has a big cast.

The show is about a 15-year-old Jackie who after a tragic accident in which she lost her family, moves to a ranch in Colorado. As a city girl now living on a ranch full of boys, she faces some challenges but as an intelligent and ambitious girl, we see her overcoming all the challenges.

While the show starts with tragedy it is a teen drama, full of emotions, and has kind of a feel-good story. The show aired its first season in 2023 on Netflix with a total of 10 episodes and was shortly renewed for a second season. 

Back to Lyla (Movie)

Back to Lyla is Nikki Rodriguez’s only movie so far. The movie was released in 2022 and stars Gonzalo Martin as Mark, a young guy who is dying of cancer and embarks on a road trip with his friends to find closure for his love life in the form of Lyla his ex. 

Nikki Rodriguez’s Short Movies

To date, Nikki has been in five short movies, four of which have been released while the fifth is in post-production. Her first short movie was “This Land is Your Land” starring Aqeel Ash-Shakoor and is about slavery. The movie was released in 2018 and she portrayed the role of prisoner number 2.

She then appeared in “Roadkill” in 2019 in which she starred as Tammy. The movie was written and directed by Jonathan D’Ambrosio, who also acted in the movie along with Robert Ristic. The movie is really artistic and fun to watch.

She then appeared in Father a short movie from 2020 and portrayed the role of Sal AJ Troup as Father Gillespie. Bunny Run was her second short movie in 2020 where she portrayed Mackenzie alongside Ryan Liddicoatt’s portrayal of Dean who also wrote and directed the movie.

Her last movie is called “Human” which is still in post-production and yet to be released. It is a sci-fi movie set in the future and her character’s name is Naya Garcia. As for the rest of the details, we will have to wait for the movie to be released.
